The corona virus (COVID – 19) pandemic has caused devastation across the globe. Besides the toll on human life, with countries shutting their borders and quarantines, economies have taken a huge hit.

We at ASTA Group a well-reputed and leading premium builder in Chennai are deeply concerned about this and have launched the initiative to help the disadvantaged and support families at this time of real crisis – to provide protection against the virus and a safety net to tide over financial concerns.

ASTA’s CSR Policy is built on the principle of providing back to the society from which it draws its resources, by extending a helping hand to the needy, Asta recognizes the importance and the need to evolve and implement Corporate Policy on social responsibility to its environment and the community at large.

Share-a-Meal Program

Sharing food with another human being is an intimate act that should not be indulged in lightly..

With the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic situation in India, to face the current scenario, ASTA has taken the initiative to provide hygienic food for the needy in and around the city in large, understanding the nature of the issue. Asta Group has distributed around 56,000 meal packets to Guest workers, slum dwellers, and children under the aegis of the Share-a-Meal program for the Economically Weaker Sections of society. With the help of our Parent Company RADISSON BLU HOTEL CHENNAI CITY CENTRE.

We are reaching out to the massive homeless migrant population across Chennai. Asta has dedicated itself of providing hygienic prepared food. The best part about the activity is that every employee of the organization involves themselves in contributing to society.

Apart from Share –a – Meal Program, we have also started distribution of Food Kits including hand sanitizers and Masks to Daily wage workers & Household workers. The distributions of commodities are meticulously planned, adhering to the principles of social distancing.
